James Alexander has been intensely documenting the refugee crisis for over a year now.
His new feature length documentary "Somewhere Out There" is bought to you from the co-producer of Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 and the editor of the Act of Killing and The Look Of Silence.
The story focuses on a family fleeing war in Syria, torn apart on their journey to safety in Europe. Set amongst a backdrop of the global refugee crisis, a father and his children are trapped in a Greek military camp, while their mother waits in desperate hope that they will join her in the safety of Germany.
James is always looking to team up with charities and environmentally based organisations, his next documentary 'Bloodline' surrounding the issues of poaching in Africa, hopes to bring the audience into the lives of those affected by this war and closer to those responsible for the deaths of such magnificent creatures. It is set to hit production Spring 2017.
